"Divita" 2017 - Petit Verdot Toscana Rosso IGT - Podere San Cristoforo

Ruby red with garnet reflections that herald an important wine, with a range of aromatics that goes from aerthy notes towards red berry fruit, recalling tobacco scents in which spicy nuances also creep in. It enters the mouth with the right harmony, with juicy tannins and a brilliantly vertical sip.

It goes well with tasty and spicy dishes. Wonderful with baked lamb, seasoned with only oil and rosemary. Excellent with "Coq au vin".

Podere San Cristoforo represents one of the rare micro-zones able to produce a 100% Petit Verdot. The few scattered bunches, caressed by the sea breezes, come from the young "Campo Novo" vineyard, where the vines grow on soils rich in graphite and iron minerals.
