"Carandelle" 2018 - Sangiovese Maremma Toscana DOC - Podere San Cristoforo

Intense and bright ruby ​​red color, with aromas of morello cherry, raspberry and black currant, with hints of licorice and spices. Carandelle is a classic Sangiovese, fresh with an elegant tannic structure and an excellent persistence.

It goes well with traditional Tuscan dishes, from the rich Caciucco to the light and fresh Panzanella. Excellent with game and grilled meat, in particular the "Bistecca alla Fiorentina".

It comes from a blend of 6 different Sangiovese sub-varieties, selected in some historic Tuscan vineyards and propagated in the Carandelle vineyard. All operations in the vineyard and in the cellar are carried out according to the lunar calendar and the grapes are fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts.
