Tasting notes
A classic natural wine, with a deep golden colour, rich and dense on the palate, with nuances of apple, pear, patisserie, herbs and spices, endowed with phenomenal freshness, purity and depth.
Pairings
Because of its richness and tannic structure, this orange wine pair well with bold and spicy foods, including curry dishes, Moroccan and Ethiopian cuisines, Korean dishes with fermented kimchi, and traditional Japanese cuisine.
Why we like it
Identità 2017 is our orange natural wine coming from "Campo Vecchio", a filed blend of Trebbiano, Vermentino and Malvasia. A mere 1.960 bottles were produced. Nothing was added to the wine and is defined as "sulfite free wine" since the content of natural SO2 is below 10 mg/Lt. Coming from the challanging 2017 vintage - characterised by the driest weather and the earliest harvest we have ever had - this is a viscerally thrilling wine that can be produced only once in a lifetime.
